Do you want to be more confident in front of the camera? Or perhaps you want to do your own Business or YouTube videos. Camera Preparation Training is a one day workshop designed to prepare you for the camera and record your very own demo-reel with the guidance of our trained professionals.

Once you have learnt the basics, we’ll put them into action and start recording, using your newly acquired skills with our green-screen background. You will have an option to have backgrounds, music and graphics added to your recordings, creating your very own Demo Reel*.

The course has a lot to pack in, but is also a lot of fun.
Once you leave this workshop you will know the tricks to creating your own high quality professional videos.
Saying things on camera is one thing, but saying them the right way, confidently and professionally is another.
You will receive a workbook and a certificate upon successful completion of the workshop.

  • 1 One minute introduction – About You
  • 2 Personal or business recording (2-3 minutes)
  • 3 Presenting in front of a camera
  • 4 Co-presenting and script writing

What You Need

• A one minute intro of yourself. In this intro you can include things like who are you are, where you are from, what you do for work, why you have joined the course. You could also include your hobbies and things you enjoy doing.

• Three changes of clothes. A mix of professional, smart casual and casual. Clothing should be appropriate to how you want to present yourself on the camera.

After completion of this one-day workshop you will have the education and confidence to record more of your own professional videos. During the day you will have created footage that will engage and captivate your audience and can be used to create your own demo-reel.

Workshops are conducted in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
This is not a catered workshop. You will need to bring your own lunch, snacks, water for the day, or there are shops nearby.
